Outings
Our dedicated mini bus driver has been busy taking the residents on trips and events in the area and further afield. Some of our male residents enjoyed a trip to Hampdon Park whilst other trips include Rutherglen Town Hall Tea Dances and Blair Dummond Safari Park.
Summer Fete
Our Summer Fete was a great success, the residents and guests enjoyed a day of fun with lots of entertainment from Karaoke singers, Dancers and even a workout with a fitness instructor. There were plenty of prize winning opportunities with raffles and bottle stalls etc. They even enjoyed a game of carpet bowls with the children while savouring some delicious cooking, baking and 'a wee cuppa' in the beautiful, relaxed atmosphere of our centre garden. Big kids and small er kids also enjoyed the local Fire Brigade and Police Dept's attendance until they had an emergency and had to “blue light” away!
Tinsel Tea
We are holding a Tinsel Tea Fund Raising Event. There will be lots of fun things to do on the day including a special Christmas Raffle, Guess the Teddy’s name! Guess the weight of the cake! And also lots of fun things to buy for the festive period including Snowman Soup and Reindeer Food!
Flyers have been posted in local shops and throughout the home, so hopefully we’ll have a good turnout!
