Greenhills Care Centre is located in an idyllic setting on the outskirts of the historic town of Biggar, only 30 miles from Edinburgh and 40 miles from Glasgow. From an elevated position, in it’s own landscaped grounds, the Home enjoys superb panoramic views over the surrounding Lanarkshire countryside and the famous Tinto Hill (2330 ft).

Greenhills Care Centre is a purpose built facility with 39 single rooms and 4 double rooms, all beautifully appointed with the addition of nurse call system, television and telephone points. All rooms have an en-suite walk-in shower room with wash basin and toilet and assisted bathrooms are also available.

Although rooms are more than adequately furnished, residents are always encouraged to bring in ornaments, family photographs and small items of their own furniture which add to that feeling of being 'at home'. A dedicated activities co-ordinator is always on hand to provide recreational activities and to help residents pursue new interests. A minibus is available for planned day trips and regular outings to parks, museums and theatres.
